A shared Balandra beach tour follows a fixed timetable with other guests on board. On a private day, only your group rides and your driver picks you up at your door. You set the pace and stop when you want.
We serve hotels and rentals in Cabo San Lucas, San Jose del Cabo and the Tourist Corridor. Our driver comes to your door, so there is no meeting point. The drive from your hotel to the beach takes 2 to 2.5 hours. Outside these areas, contact us and we will check availability.

Guests who cannot walk for a long stretch or climb a hill should skip this trip. With a 2 to 2.5 hour drive, that includes guests with limited mobility, heart, back or knee problems, and pregnant guests. If you get carsick, take your medication before the long drive.
Expect a walk up the hill to the viewpoint over the bay, so wear comfortable shoes. The water is shallow and good for swimming. Take all trash out and leave the marine life alone. Beyond tips and souvenirs, there is nothing extra to pay on the day.

Yes. Balandra is a protected natural area. Since February 2026, visitors need a digital access wristband from CONANP, the Mexican agency for protected areas. Under CONANP’s current rules, entry runs in two windows a day, with a cap of 450 visitors each. Yours is included, so there is nothing to buy on the day.
You can book online up to 24 hours before your tour, subject to availability. Balandra caps its daily visitors, so in high season it is best to book a few days ahead.
